The Waterfront began in September 1995, and till this day it remains the only official newspaper for Swansea Students’ Union.

It is comprised of three main sections: news, features and sport.

The current news editorial team are: Rebecca Taylor and Gemma Parry.

The current features editorial team are: Jon May, Samantha Booth, Alex Gibbs, Catrin Lewis, James Langridge, Zoe Gullett, Lucinda Reid, Matt Edwards and Richard Cowie.

The current sports editorial team are: David Hendy and Craig Hadley.

The newspaper is overseen by two experienced journalists in the form of Kay Byrne (formerly of ITV Wales) and Dave Dulin (currently working for BBC online).
