STUDENTS in Swansea are taking to social media to report a mini earthquake felt earlier this afternoon.

The quake was felt around 1.20pm this afternoon and lasted around ten seconds. Students reported feeling chairs and walls moving and shaking in buildings on campus.

Ant Veal, a professional meteorologist based in South Devon, tweeted: “Earthquake was at 13:21:31 UTC today magnitude: 4.3, depth: 100km, latitude: 51.39N, longitude: 4.10W Bristol Channel midway between Ilfracombe & Swansea.”
