Swansea thrashed Aberystwyth 50-12 to seal promotion in a title winning performance.
Teary captain Rebecca Smith was delighted with promotion following last years’s disappointing second place finish.
“It has just been fantastic with the team this year,” said Smith.
“I played in the team last year and it was the most disappointed I’ve ever been.
“So for us to be here this year, it’s just fantastic.”
Swansea’s supreme scoring prowess was evident from the opening quarter.
Frequent scoring from Pippa Perry and Emily Pumford helped Swansea on their way to victory.
Aberystwyth’s centre, Ellie Rowland, showed fantastic passing throughout.
Another high note for the away side was their goal shooter Rachel Williams.
Her chances were few and far between but she was lethal when given the chance to shoot.
Swansea won seven of their nine league games this season following a disappointing start losing to Swansea Met on the opening day.
