With a successful half-time show at the 2011 Welsh Varsity and a number of trophies under their belt, the Swansea Sirens are set for more success in 2011/12.

Last year, the Sirens’ hard work paid off with second and third place trophies from the British Cheerleading Association’s (BCA) Western Classic Competition as well as a second place trophy from the BCA University nationals.

Both competitions were major successes for the squad and reflect the Sirens commitment to training throughout the year.

The 2011 Welsh Varsity gave the squad an amazing opportunity to perform at the Millennium Stadium in front of thousands of students and fans.

This next year promises to be bigger and better with new coach Meg Bridger bringing fresh ideas and more technical routines to the team.

The Sirens have also managed to obtain three sponsors and have designed a new website in order to publicise their squad.

The squad have hight hopes for many more trophies this year from the Western Classics and the University Nationals competitions.
