In an interview with The Waterfront, unsuccessful Women’s Officer candidate Samina Trickey expressed her gratitude for the experience of running for the position.
“You learn who your real friends are. I’ve met so many amazing people. They all chipped in to help with the campaign.”
Samina also described the atmosphere of the campaigning as being really positive.

Woody’s Bar is looking to accommodate the influx of 109 American students who moved into the Village this year designing events that will specifically interest them. Boston Beer Pong gets its name from the Boston Tea Party, although Manager Daz Thomas assured it has nothing to do with dressing up as Native Americans and dumping overtaxed beer into the sea.

SWANSEA UNIVERSITY library is now the home of the largest collection of books on the American Civil War in the UK.
The collection was donated last summer by Alan Milne from Cardiff. He spent nearly 30 years of his life collecting 2,000 books on the Civil War, many of them primary sources including soldier diaries, naval war records and presidential papers.
