THE approach of the 2011 Welsh Varsity offers the perfect opportunity to review the seasons of many sports at Swansea University and squash is no exception. It is one of around 20 sports being contested by the universities of Cardiff and Swansea on Wednesday and with team captains Ceris Challenger and Rob Watson preparing their respective men’s and women’s team for the big day, I was able to gain some insight into how things have gone this season for both teams, and how they assess their chances against Cardiff.
