STUDENTS marked world AIDS day with a cake and red ribbon sale in the foyer of Fulton House.

STUDENTS marked world AIDS day with a cake and red ribbon sale in the foyer of Fulton House.

The event which is celebrated on December 1 each year helps to raise money and awareness of the fight against HIV and AIDS and also aims to educate people further on the matter.

In previous years, the events have been run with a societal perspective.

SWANSEA University struggled against tough competition in Edinburgh’s Braids 2011 cross country event finishing just outside the top ten in both the men’s and women’s categories.

SWANSEA University struggled against tough competition in Edinburgh’s Braids 2011 cross country event finishing just outside the top ten in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Edinburgh University won both team events with Swansea finishing 11th in the women’s event and 13th in the men’s.

Edinburgh also came out on top in the individual events with Claire Ward from the ‘HBT’ running club coming in at 18min 34sec.

SWANSEA UNIVERSITY paints the town green in Environment Week 2011 which will take place between Monday 28th February and Friday 4th March in Fulton House Refectory each day from 10am.

This gem of an event will be providing free giveaways and advice on how you can be ‘Green’ yourself.

 

SWANSEA UNIVERSITY paints the town green in Environment Week 2011 which will take place between Monday 28th February and Friday 4th March in Fulton House Refectory each day from 10am.

This gem of an event will be providing free giveaways and advice on how you can be ‘Green’ yourself.

The week will be presented with a theme a day starting with ‘Energy Monday’, with solar panel displays, free energy saving giveaways and a chance to speak to industry experts on career opportunities.
