Genesis to reform for tour

World-famous Genesis, led by superstar Phil Collins, are to reform next summer for the first time in 15 years. Their only two gigs in Britain are in Twickenham and Manchester in July 2007. However the tour will be without ex-Genesis member Peter Gabriel, who was "over-cautious" about taking this classic band back on the road.

... Van Halen! Fronted by original singer David Lee Roth, Van Halen are rumoured to be about to embark on a nationwide tour of America. This follows their tour two years ago with former singer Sammy Hagar

Numan has Asperger's Syndrome

Electro star Gary Numan has recently revealed that he suffers from a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome - a disorder which entails symptoms of the sufferer being overly sensitive to sounds, tastes, smells and sights. This claim comes after Vines frontman Craig Nicholls who was given a similar diagnosis, and who has recently returned to a full time tour in Australia.

Bloc Party drummer injury

Bloc Party's drummer, Matt Tong, suffered a collapsed lung after supporting Panic! At The Disco in Atlanta on 9 November. The band have been forced to cancel their remaining US appearances as a result.

Pete Doherty fined for assault

The Babyshambles front man has been fined £750 after admitting assault on a BBC reporter in March earlier this year. Pleading guilty to kicking the microphone out of the reporter's hand the star simply commented "If I hurt this lady, I'm sorry". Doherty was also ordered to pay £250 compensation and £200 in court costs.
