Chinese Democracy

It is rumoured that the new Guns n' Roses album Chinese Democracy is to be finally released in November. After a series of less than successful performances and several disappering acts from frontman Axl Rose, the potential release probably needs to be seen to be believed.

Class of 3000

Andre 3000 (of Outkast fame) has written and produced his own cartoon show. The series, Class of 3000, is set to air in the US on November 3 and will include an original composition by Andre 3000 for each episode.

Stones Documentary

Legendary film director Martin Scorsese is to direct a documentary about the Rolling Stones. Having famously directed the Bob Dylan documentary, No Direction Home, to critical acclaim, Scorsese will film the Stones at gigs in New York at the end of October.

Another let down from Pete

Babyshambles cancelled yet another gig in Liverpool on the 6 and then decided to abandon their remaining tour dates. Apparently frontman Pete Doherty began the tour far too soon after being discharged from rehab and is being allowed the time off to continue with his recovery.

The Good, The Bad and The Queen

Damon Albarn has teamed up with the Clash bassist Paul Simonon for new project, 'The Good, The Bad and The Queen'. Working with American producer Dangermouse on the debut album they claim it could almost be the follow-up to Parklife. The self-titled album is released in January and debut single Herculean is released on October 30.
