Strapped up

Compiling ideas from the staff and with an ultimate vote from the Executive and the Sabbs, Swansea University's Students' Union now has a strap line that defines their role for the university and students.

The new line, 'Your Union, Your Experience', as seen on the front page of this paper, has been created to describe their purpose and goals for the students-representing them and helping them make their university experience an enjoyable and memorable one.

Student Union Treasurer Owen Morris said, "it represents the concept of an SU, and that this is Swansea University's students' union and they make of it what they want through active participation."

Swansea was the first university to be awarded "Best Student Experience" by the Times Higher Education Awards. The Student Union aims to maintain and strengthen its hard work and continue working to help students succeed and have an excellent time at Swansea.
