What does it take to be Atheltic Union President?

To discover what is really needed to be in the driving speat, Waterfront talks to Tim Stickley this year's current AU President with the aim of discovering the trials and tribulations of the job.

"Its not at all what I expected from the job," Tim explains. "I originally thought that I would sit around chatting all day and administrate fixtures".

And how has seven months of the job changed this perspective? "It's a lot more work than I could ever have anticipated. There are aspects of the job i could never have forseen. But it has been a fantastic experience and i have enjoyed every second of it, even the more stressful days".

What does it take then in the words of Tim "Having a big smile is a good start, however I think I could use a lot of lycra and a cape, with pants on the outside of trousers as a bonus option!" And there you have it, all it takes to be AU President is to be a superhero... easy!
