Review: La Moustache

This confusing semi sci-fi feature gets stranger and stranger as its protagonist Marc descends into a state of paranoia and self-questioning, all as a result of shaving off his moustache.

Laced with deeply philosophical undertones, that to all but the most highly intellectual of viewers will require repeated viewing to fully understand, director Emmanuel Carrere presents questions of identity and its importance in defining not only yourself but your entire universe; everyone and everything you know can be altered by changing a defining feature of yourself, in this case, a moustache. Intriguing viewing.
