Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers and Feeder are amongst the first wave of superstar talent that will be unleashed at the inaugral Fflam festival this summer. In what will be Wales' first major music festival, the event will be held in Singleton Park between 13-15 July and it promises to be a belter.
The Manics will join headliners Keane as very special guests on Friday 13 July, along with veteren indie starlets, The Levellers, whilst Feeder will join headliners Placebo and Enter Shakiri on Saturday 14 July.
Although the headliners for Sunday 15 July are still unconfirmed, it has been said that 'a major act' will be announced shortly complete with special guests. Three local unsigned bands will also be given the chance to appear at the festival by promoters Straight Music Ltd. Further information will be available from the Fflam website at a later date.
The Manics' Nicky Wire has said, "It will be good to be back in Swansea," whilst Cllr Gerald Clement, Swansea Council's Cabinet Member for Culture, Recreation, and Tourism enthused, "We have all been waiting with baited breath to find out who the headline bands would be this year and it has been well worth the wait!"

Tickets will go on sale 12 March with an allocation of 2,000 Early Bird tickets available to personal callers to Derrick's Music and the Grand Theatre on that day (provided buyers have a Swansea postcode) priced £80 (weekend) or £90 (weekend with camping).
Otherwise tickets will be on general sale from the usual outlets such as See Tickets, Ticket Line and Ticket Zone for £100 (weekend) or £115 (weekend with camping).
There is a limit of six tickets per purchaser. As physical tickets will not be supplied until about three weeks prior to the festival taking place, customers will be supplied with a receipt and reference number (cash customers will need to supply name and address). Customers buying with a credit card are advised that tickets will be sent to cardholder's name and address.
