Styling The Clash

Marking the 30th anniversary of the Clash's White Riot tour, the Cochrane Theatre in London celebrated by holding a fashion event dedicated to The Clash's wardrobe with a rare opportunity to hear from the designers themselves who created the clothes and ultimately styled the band.

Australian Fashion Week

Two seasons later, Ksubi designers Dan Single and Geogre Gorrow returned to the catwalk with American model Erin Wasson opening the show. The designers showcased a heavy duty structured line, attracted heavy admiration from stars such as Dita Von Teese.

SJP vs. Madge and Gwen

Sarah Jessica Parker, recently gave out a few clues about her forthcoming clothing line, Bitten. In comparison to recent lines from Madonna and Gwen Stefani, SJP hopes her designs will be less high fashion, and more realistic about fitting into women's lives. Whatever that means...

No Stella, just Guiness!

Stella McCartney plans stepped her show up a notch at Bergdorf Goodman by introducing a "British pub vibe". Apparently the designer served Guiness to her guests and invited them to play table-football whilst she displayed her collection.

Vuitton's display

Louis Vuitton's flagship windows in Paris are becoming more and more like an artwork gallery every day. Not content with showcasing contemporary painters such as James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson, a video installation by acclaimed Turkish artist Haluk Akakce will be added next month.
