Fflam Festival 2007

The eagerly awaited Fflam festival is nearly here. Hoping to be Wales' answer to T in the Park, Fflam has attracted many big names and supporting bands to give it one hell of a line up.

Friday will see Keane and Manic Street Preachers headlining, with support from The Feeling, The Ordinary Boys, The Stranglers and Levellers. Saturday's headliners include Placebo, Feeder and Enter Shikari and the Sunday headliner is yet to be announced.

Taking place in Swansea's own Singleton Park the camping facilities for the festival will be located ten minutes away on Swansea Airport land. A free shuttle service will be ran between the two sites for campsite ticket holders.

Aside from the array of musical talent on display at Fflam, late night entertainment will be provided on the campsite with 24hr shops, refreshments and welfare facilities.

Campsite parking is also available and a limited area designated for campervans is also available, a restricted number of campervan tickets will shortly be available.

New outfit Enter Shikari also look ready for action, already having a massive fanbase and being a big hit with the NME it looks as if Fflam is just the beginning for these boys from north London.

Experienced headliners Placebo, Feeder and the Manics are more than used to playing festivals, this experience also brings huge talent with it which should help to get Fflam off to a massively successful start.

It'll also be a welcome return to Swansea for the Manic Street Preacher's own Nicky Wire, who went to Swansea University. Being well publicised that Swansea holds a special place in the Manic's heart should make for an amazing and unique performance that will be one of the many highlights at Fflam.
