Got the X factor

After losing out to Hear'say in the original Popstars final, Liberty X were dubbed the 'flopstars'.

Yet the group have rebounded in impressive fashion, far outlasting their ITV rivals, and becoming a regular fixture in the charts

This year they bring their particular brand of X-Factor to the Summer Ball, right on our very own Abbey Meadow, as a headline act.

The 'liberty' they gained from not winning Popstars gave the five-piece group much greater flexibility in the music they could produce, and they set about carving themselves a nice nieche in the poppy R&B market.

Bringing the singles that relaunched their careers in a post-reality television world, Thinkin' It Over and Doin It, the Liberty X set will also be filled with their more modern creations, including tracks off of their second album, Being Somebody.

Now despite struggles with their third album, X, and rumours of members leaving. the band are still very much together, and due to release their 12th single later in May.
