Winning accomodation

Two overseas students have come up with a winning idea for an accommodation service for other overseas students - and have won an award that could make their business dreams come true. Tatiana Dyachkova and Andrey Tarabanov won the I Factor award at the University of Bedfordshire's annual enterprise competition.

The Russian/Hungarian duo, both students at the University, came up with the concept of a Student Accommodation Design Service. Such a service would set up everything an overseas or home student would need in their accommodation before they arrived - from teaspoons to TVs.

Cambridge win 150th boat race

Cambridge won a controversial 150th Boat Race on Sunday 29 March, bringing an end to two years of Oxford dominance.

Oxford lost a length after both boats clashed on the Fulham bend and never looked likely to regain the ground. The race proved to be a nightmare for Oxford, whose bowman Chris Kenelly stopped rowing twice in quick succession. It left his team struggling badly and ultimately proved the difference between the boats.
