The Summer Ball 2007 is back and better than ever!

The epic event that is the Summer Ball has finally revealed a confirmed line up of first class musical A listers. Headlining the event are The Automatic, Liberty X and Pendulum.

The infamous Cardiff quartet, The Automatic, best known for the massively catchy top ten hit "monster" will be joining the reformed raunchy Liberty X popsters and drum and bass legends, Pendulum in the main arena for six hours of non stop music fun.

Some of Swansea's finest clubs will also be at the event. Sin City and Time and Envy will have their own tents with some of the biggest Radio 1 DJs playing tunes throughout the day. The free fun fair is also back with a vengeance once more this year, with a reserve bungee jump for thrill seeker and those with a strong stomach!

More musical talent will make an appearance of the grand day including Kali Mist, a Welsh Reggae band from Big end (Bridgend, near Cardiff). With nine members in the band and their eclectic mix of female and male lead vocals, they are sure to make a big impression at the Summer Ball.

Urban acoustic big wig Julia Harris will also be gracing us with her presence on the big day. Her unique "funk-folk" sound will certainly hit the spot with more mellow and chilled out individuals.

Old hand MC Verse came onto the drum and bass scene back in 1996. He has played in venues world wide inlcuding Europe, Japan, America and Canada. He too will be appearing at the Summer Ball 2007.

Also added huge line up will be Two Spot Gobi, Viva Machine and Pippa Rogers.

The Summer Ball has once again pulled a plethora of musical talent out of the proverbial hat. With a variety of different music genres ranging from smooth urban acoustics to ground shaking drum and bass, the Summer Ball will cater for all.

The Summer Ball 2007 will be the final event in a week long S.E.X in the City organised by Swansea ENTS Xtras. The week will begin on Friday 8 June with a Hooters @ Tooters night, Saturday night presents CRASH, Hendrefoilan Student Village will host the legendary annual Village Carnival on Sunday.

On Monday Dodgeball Sports Day will be held on campus and Tuesday will be The Big Chill, the calm before the storm that is the definitive Summer Ball on Wednesday 13 June.

This year the ball has abandoned its casual Hawaiian theme and gone "Back to Black", reinstating its black tie dress code.

So swap your grass skirt for your bow ties and sparkly dresses and get your glad rags on for the Back in Black Summer Ball 2007!
