New AU publicity officer Kat Webster introduces us to the Athletic Union
Yet another Freshers' Fayre has been and gone and this year was as busy as ever! Here at the AU we had even more clubs for you to join. As well as the old favourites, such as Hockey, Badminton and Rugby, we now have new probationary clubs of Table Tennis, and Fin Swimming.
So as you can see, this year is definitely the year to get active at Swansea. With all the clubs the AU has on offer there's no excuse not to! If you'd like to have another look at the full list of clubs we have on offer at Swansea University check out our website www.suau.co.uk which we will be regularly updating with our latest sports news.
Remember, if there's a club that doesn't exist yet that you would like to start up just let us know and we can discuss it with you. Also if there are any keen volleyballers out there the team is looking for a club captain, so step forward and make yourself known at the AU office!
The Ultimate frisbee team have shown what can be done if you have a new sport. Through hard work, dedication and a lot of fun they have shown how to get people keen in something a bit different.
