Having finally reached university after a brief (two year) detour around Australia and America, pondering 'What do do with my life', Kate is here in Swansea in the second year of an English and Creative Writing degree.
During her first year, Kate was an intern for the Culture and Travel sections of Front. She was encouraged to apply for an editor position within the team. She now holds the job of Culture Editor along with her co-editor Holly Thomas. Together, they have introduced two new pages devoted to up-and-coming young writers and books.
During her time at Front, she has interviewed comedian Jimmy Car and had the opportunity to attend the first EDS Dylan Thomas Prize in Swansea.
