Sports Editor
Matt is one of the two Sports Editors for Waterfront this year. He has been writing for the Sport section since he was a fresher and has risen to editor for his final year at Swansea. He enjoys most sport, and has covered a variety of different sports and events since he joined the team, including a great deal of music events in his first two years, winning Music Writer of the Year in his first year in Swansea.
In terms of the Sport Section this year, Matt (along with Stu Phillips) wants to improve the coverage of AU and Intra Mural Sport so more people know how our teams are getting on, and is looking forward to tje challenge of covering all the Varsity fixtures after the Christmas break.
Writing for Waterfront has encouraged Matt to try and seek a career in Journalism after he finishes his Degree in the summer, maybe in Cardiff or an internship at a regional paper.
