"Why did we end up in Flares last night?" is the question on everyone's lips this morning. Yes, I danced to the funky seventies disco beat but I defy anyone not to once they're forced into the depths of Flares. It was another Waterfront Social last night; usually I manage to slip away quite easily before the words "I want to dance!" come out of my mouth but last night was an exception. A jolly good night all round I think, the copious amounts of JD and coke certainly helped but it's what you need to survive in the hazardous world of sixties and seventies disco vibes. I feel surprisingly alert this morning, which helps when you have to write an essay on personality and schizophrenia and so forth. However, I made the mistake of choosing my 80s playlist as my 'working' music – so you can imagine that not much work is getting done, rather I've now learnt all the words to 'Easy Lover' by Phil Collins which I think is time well spent. Despite losing all of my motivation for my coursework due to the 80s I'm feeling rather content – which I realises clashes with the idea of 'Ginger Rage' but you can't have everything can you.
