Sabb election hustings
- 12 Mar 2007 18:15
Today has seen the hustings take place for the upcoming Sabbatical Elections which take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
The event was well attended by members of the respective campaign teams and all candidates handled the pressure of the occasion with great aplomb.
Each candidate was given the opportunity to speak for two minutes before being given the chance to answer three questions regarding the position they were running for.
Owen Morris, Treasure of the Student Union, said, "It was all about questions from the floor. Even though it was a long event everybody behaved themselves and the candidates gave some good answers.
"Whoever gets in, the union will be in good hands."
Voting for the elections takes place in the Student Village on Wednesday 14 March from 1pm until 7pm. On Thursday 15 March polling moves to campus from 9.30am until 7pm.
