After a lengthy period of inactivity things are starting to pick up in the 2007 Sabbatical Elections.
This has proved to be a long evening for teams at both Waterfront and Xtreme.
Having started our late shift at 8pm we had been expecting the first result by 1030pm but sadly it ended up being a much longer wait.
What has made the wait worthwhile has been to see the reaction of the winning candidates who have worked so hard campaigning over the past week.
To see their elation and relief in their success certainly raises hopes that the 2007/08 Sabbatical team can take the Student Union on to bigger and better things
As things stand we should be here for a few more hours bringing you up to the minute results of the remaining elections for the positions of Welfare Officer, Treasurer and President
Hopefully we will see a few more smiling faces before the night is through.
