As someone familiar with Kanye’s work, I know he’s never been one to hold back and with this album he takes the James Cameron approach of ‘less isn’t more, more is more!’ The only real problem I can say that I have with this album is that it lacks the soul of his last few offerings as there are no cuts like Family Business or Homecoming. Kanye seems to have embraced his douchebag status and that’s a shame. He’s no longer really likeable and that takes a bit away from the enjoyment of the album.
