SWANSEA CHORAL SOCIETY WINTER CONCERT

Parkinson’s UK – the support and research charity – is passionate about finding a cure and improving life of everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

Local group Swansea University Choral Society,
are inviting local people to attend their
Winter Concert
Saturday 11th December
7:30pm
to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK.

The choir will sing a mix of classical music, including Faure’s Requiem and will then conclude by bringing the festive spirit with many traditional Christmas carols. The concert will take place at St Paul’s Church, Sketty. Tickets are £4 with a £3 concession per person and will include a complimentary beverage and a minced pie. Half of the ticket sales will go to the charity and 100% of all proceeds raised through donations will help fund the charity’s work.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition and there is currently no cure. For some people, having Parkinson’s can be a frustrating and isolating experience. Via a network of local groups, Parkinson’s UK offers information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers to make sure that no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.

The Swansea University Choral Society has given a Charity Winter Concert for the past 4 years. Last year the performance was in aid for Help for Heroes, and from the support of family, friends and locals alike, raised over £500 for the charity.
