A SWANSEA student has beaten hundreds of competitors to win the UK National Lottery Award for the Best Education Project, in a London award ceremony.

COMPUTER science students claim they are losing several hours of valuable  teaching time due to lecturers having to spend their time marking dissertation projects.

MUMBLES PIER is facing possible closure due to safety concerns.
